You have a great idea and want to share it with as many people as possible, but you don't exactly know how? You have a new project and need supporters? Not only do you want to advertise your initiatives locally, but also beyond Aachen?
Well, Eigeninis@TEDx is the perfect opportunity for you!
Based on the concept of the american organisation TED the goal of our initiative TEDxClub RWTHAachen e. V. is to offer a stage for great ideas and spread them globally. Therefore once a year we organize a conference with speakers from different fields and areas of expertise who are capable of presenting their ideas and projects in a generally understandable way in the shortest amout of time (max. of 18 minutes). Everyone can be a speaker − the idea is the main focus.
For our fifth anniversary we want to give you, the student initiatives, the opportunity to present your ideas at the next TEDxRWTHAachen conference in June 2018! We invite you to prepare a TED-esque like talk with our support. Therefore send us a short application including your speaker and brief summary of your talk until the end of the year. On February, 5th 2018 the student initiatives are presenting their talks as part of 'Eigeninis@TEDx' in front of a three-headed jury, amongst others consisting of the chancellor of RWTH Aachen Manfred Nettekoven, and other supporters of the respective student initiatives. The initiative with the most popular talk is invited to hold the talk live on our conference in June 2018.
With pleasure we will accompany you during the preparation of your talk from January 2018 and will assist you with our know-how. Did we arouse your interest? Here again the main information:
|Application||summary of your talk with at most 300 words (ideally in English) to email@example.com|
|Preparation:||18 minutes long (at max) talk in English (with slides)|
|Eigeninis@TEDx:||05.02.2018, 6pm at Super C Ford Generali room|

*Notes: Please present the content of your talk (e.g. a concrete project) in your summary, instead of the whole background of your initiative (unless you want to talk about your general concept).
In case you have any further questions, we will be available for you at firstname.lastname@example.org at any time. We are looking forward to your applications!
